Week 5 writing

Quick write

There was money everywhere, and there was people that came inside the house with some rubbish bags. They put the money inside the rubbish bags, as they were putting the money in the rubbish bags they heard a big noise BANG! one of them asked “What’s that noise?” The other person replied “ It was a door.” After a few of the bags were full they would rush outside to put it into the van. They needed the money to buy a new house, new clothes, new car, and new furniture. As they were filling the rest of the bags they heard another BANG!

Last week we started writing a story with dialogue in our books. Then today we had to make a new document and copy the story from our books into the document. After doing that we had to add draft to our story. Draft stands for delete, rearrange, adding, fix and talk. Once we where finished we had to blog it.

Week 4 teach

Today at teach the year 7's made smoothies. There was mixed berries, banana's, yogurt and milk.First we had to go and put our aprons on and wash our hands. After that we had to collect the milk and berries then pour the milk and berries into a bowl then put the banana's in and mixed it. Next we put the mixture in the blender and blend it. Then we had to pour the mixture in a jag then wash the dishes. After the dishes where done and put back in its place we could finally drink our smoothies and it tasted yummy. 

Week 4 homework

This weeks homework was about the taj mahal. Me and Mishaan had to find out what it is, Where is it, when it was built, who uses it and why is it there.

kaleidoscope art

In week one we started art with Mrs Kirkpatrick we made a kaleidoscope art. We had to draw our name with pencil on the piece of paper then go over the pencil with vivid. Then we had to fold the paper and then copy write our name then after that I had to colour it in. After I was finished I had to go and wash my hands to get the pastel off then i had to take a photo.

Authors purpose

This week we had to do 3 can do's and this is one of them.I had to choose three can do's then fill them in.Like this one I had to  try and think what the purpose of  the story was and why author wrote it.

One More Minute

For this weeks reading we had to read a book called 'One More Minute'. Next we had to predict what would happen next if the story had kept going on. And I came up with these.

LS2 homework

This is our homework presentation. We had to find information about the Sydney opera house. We had to find out where is it, who uses it, when was it built and why it is there.

Stretching sentences

This week we did stretching sentences with the 5w's. We had to make a copy of the slideshow then make up a simple sentence then use the 5w's to make the sentence more interesting. After that we had to write it down on the presentation then publish it.

Statistics of LS2

For this weeks maths is finding out about LS2 we had to get a paper then go around the class and ask our question. Then we had to make a bar graph.
