My blurb for this DLO is on the last slide. In this activity I worked with Mishaan and Magenta.

Potato salad and chicken kebabs

Today at tech we made chicken kebabs and potato salad. We had to bring our own containers from home. We had to follow Mrs Heka's instructions to make the kebabs and potato salad. Mrs Heka said that we had to peel the potatoes and cut the green onions, then we had to put the potatoes in the pot with a egg so the egg can boil while the potato are cooking too. She then told us to cut the chicken in to blocks and then marinate it. Next we put the chicken on a stick and put it on the cooking tray as Mrs Heka puts the trays in the oven. After that we had to take the potatoes and the egg out of the pot and get the dressing for the potato salad. When we finished the potato salad we had to collect our chicken kebabs and put them in our container with the potato salad. The Final steps that we did was cleaning up, everyone had to pack up and get ready to go back to school. My partner for this week is Mia.

What is a river?

 

Today for inquiry we were learning about the features of a river. We were paired up and my partner was Zahra. We watched a video about a river and had to write a 25 sentences story about a river. We then made a google drawing. We had a picture of the Tamaki River, we had to identify and describe the picture. 

Water Care

This week we were learning about Water and how to take care of it. The teacher that teached us is about water her name is Sally. She told us lots of things about water and she also showed us what happens when you put water into the sink. Sally showed us how the water forms. Thanks to Sally we now know to keep out and do the right thing.

P.B.S Care Values

Today LS2 the year 7 and 8's looked at some of Panmure Bridge School C.A.R.E values. We had to get in groups of year 7 and 8's. In my group was Magenta, Sakae, Viva, Shannon, Joshua, and Christopher. In our groups we had to write What might it look like in LS2? , What does it mean?, And what are our care values?. After that we had to take photos of us doing an example of the C.A.R.E values.
