Today we did can do's for the day we had to do at lest three can do's this is one of them.

Week 6 homework

For this weeks homework we had to find info about the leaning tower.We had to find out when was it built, where it is, why it is there, what it is and who uses it.We also added five interesting facts.

How to write an orientation

Yesterday me and Mia started this activity we had to make a presentation and had to explain what is in an orientation and how to write one.

Orientation writing

On Monday in the writing block we started this orientation writing we had to come up with some character names a setting and a problem.Then we had to come up with a hook after that we could start our orientation.After we finished writing our orientation we had to add draft into our writing.Draft stands for delete, rearrange, add, fix and talk. 

Isobel's garden

On Monday we started this activity. Me and sakae had to find out who the characters are, who our favorite character is and what the character looks like. To find the information we had to read the book then fill in the questions.

Protect basic fact maths

Today I did the online maths it is called protect basic fact maths. I got 30/30 and my time is 2 minutes  and 43 seconds. I am proud of my self for getting all the answers right and for doing it fast.

Week 5 science

Yesterday in science group 1 did a baking soda and vinegar experiment. We had to get a little cup, a big cup and a bowl then put a little bit of baking soda in the small cup. After doing that we had to pour some vinegar into the big cup then grab the bowl and put the little cup in the center of the bowl and tip the vinegar into the little cup.It was like a volcano erupting and then turning to liquid. After that we had to write in our books what it felt like, what did it smell like, what you could hear and what it looked like then we had to wash the equipment and get ready for the next part of the experiment.Once we where finished writing we had to add more baking soda into the little cup and then pour the vinegar to see if it would make a difference but it didn't it was the same then we had to write more things in our books then wash the dishes and go back to class.  

Week 5 tech

Today at tech we made a fruit salad with dark chocolate syrup. My partner was ma'ata. First I collected the fruit and ma'ata got the cleaning supplies then after we did that miss hecka told everyone how to use a knife she told us the names of knifes like a butcher knife, butter knife and a grading knife then she showed us how to cut the fruit.When she finished showing us she let us go and do our fruit. After everyone finished cutting the fruit everyone got some white chocolate and we all had to cut the chocolate in half.After that we mixed all the fruit then ma'ata got some dark chocolate miss hecka melted the dark chocolate  while ma'ata was getting the dark chocolate I went and got the cups. When everyone got back to there stations we had fill the cups. First we put some dark chocolate in and then some fruit in then some white chocolate.Once our cups where full we could eat it and it tasted yummy. After eating all for the fruit and chocolate we had to do the dishes and clean up then we got on the bus and went back to school.

Week 5 homework

This weeks homework is about Mona Lisa painting.I worked with charlize.Me and charlize had to find out what it was, where it is, when it was painted and how well known it is.Then we had to put our references in then post it.

CD Cyber smart

For the past two weeks we have been learning about smart searching. We had to search up who, the who, a who we also had to search up blue sky and sky blue everything came up as different things.

Mai's Bus Ride

On Monday I read this story called Mai's bus ride I read it with sa kae. It was about a little girl named Mai she was going on the bus to get to school she was scared to get on the bus but she meet a girl her name was Rose she walked Mai onto the bus and told Mai where she could sit. She meet this boy in the bus his name was Thomas he helped her.After reading the book me and Sa kae had to make a google drawing.
