Auckland bus strikes

Today we learnt about the Auckland bus strike. We were all in pairs my partner was Jorja. Our learning intention is to Identify the 5W's of a current event. We learnt that the bus drivers were proud to let the public know how they felt, but the public was furious because they had no way to get their children to school and they had no way to get to work.

Chunky chocolate chip cookies

Last Friday the year 7's did cooking with Miss Tuipulotu. We made chunky chocolate chip cookies.My partner in this activity was Ma'ata and Mrs Linda. Mrs Linda comes to help Ma'ata. I did the wet ingredients and ma'ata did the dry ingredients. I had to mix the wet ingredients together until the mixture went white while ma'ata was cutting the chocolate chips. After that we put everything together and mixed it and put it on a tray. Then we put it all in the oven and ate it.

Counting to ten in italian

PBS Flag votes

Yesterday we started this activity. We had to analyse our PBS flag votes data then graph our results. Next I had to take a screen shot of my graph then  make a new document and put the screen shot on the document and then I had to write sentences that shows I have read it and analysed the data.

Coke and mentos experiment

For the past few weeks we have been doing science in groups. After we did all the experiments we had to make a movie in our groups. We used scientific language throughout the movie and we reenacted the experiment with our own props. (We used baking soda for our own effects.)

Word study challenge

Last week i had to do three can do's and i pick this one to do first. I had to think of 3 interesting words then find the meaning in my own words and then find a picture that shows the words meaning.Next I had to think of a sentences that had the words in it then i had to find synonyms of the words and post it.
